It has a drop side rail which can be easily lowered to feed your baby at night without having to disturb your little one or get them out of bed it's ideal for breastfeeding mothers! It's also lightweight, which makes it easy to move around the house during nap time and for travelling.

We love that it's made of soft fabrics with breathable mesh sides that promote airflow and ease of use. It is available in charcoal or oak with a range of melange fabrics that blend with all styles of decor. Anna found it to be solid and secure when it was attached to her bed with the legs securely snapping into the frame and the zips securely secured for baby-safety. It took her about 10 minutes to put together and didn't require any tools, with clear instructions and a video or customer support contact number should you run into any problems.

Alongside the usual features you'd expect from a crib that is bedside, like being able to connect to your existing bed using a stay-in-place connector system and six height levels The CoZee comes with an additional incline option that can be used to help alleviate reflux or congestion in babies. It's also machine washable, a must for all the dribbles, vomit and snot that come with having a baby!

If you're looking to keep your baby close during the first six months as they're beginning to learn to sleep independently and independently, the CoZee is a great choice because it can be used as a separate cot, changing table or toddler bed. The side panel can be lowered by itself however, it's not recommended since it increases the chance of your child falling out of the cot. But, the patented safety locking mechanism ensures that it can only remain in place when it is attached to the bed of the parent correctly. This is a wonderful feature to have for peace mind, particularly in the case of breastfeeding and frequent night feeds.

Telescopic legs allow the Chicco Next2Me Magic to be used with any bed including divan bases or beds with drawers. It features a tilting feature for reflux babies, and the ability to rock to ease them into sleep after eating. It's also extremely large and offers excellent ventilation due to its mesh sides.

The Next2Me Magic was easy to use and set up for our test subjects, even with the lengthy instruction manual. It's a bit heavier than some of the other side-sleepers but it's still fairly portable and can be moved from room to room easily. It's small enough to be able to fit in a travel bag when not in use, which is a plus if you need to transport it. The only issue our testers noticed was that the side panel did not flex as much as the other models, which made it slightly harder to see your baby from your own bed.

If you're in search of a bedside crib that will develop with your child, then the Shnuggle Air is definitely worth considering.
